GREEN

Cali was bright eyed and bushy tailed, purring for me on her kitchen counter bed eagerly awaiting her food.
I joined her bleary eyed with a slight head buzz from my PM+9 failed test attempt, instead hovering over her while she enjoyed her LC pate. Granted it was only 1 watered tsp but served to her in the comfort of the warm bedroom at 3am PST.

I will test and update thread next at AM+9 [unless she asks for food @+8 or suggestions from our friends on the board to get earlier tests]

She asked and provided a 121 BG @+8.25. I still want to get a +9 to see if green will happen in this cycle or if she is saving for the night.

Cali 126 @+9.33
I think she may be going to save that surprise for tonight. She sure is enjoying all the tiny feeds [sometimes just a real bite chicken treat crumbled in Tbsp water].

Tonight is the 6th cycle of the bounce. Hopefully some lower green or we will need to think about an increase.
Lets see if she responds to the threat!

Based on spreadsheet so far, what times do you think we have the better chances of catching a green if you hazard a guess?

I would start with a +4 and take it from there.
I usually give her 1tsp LC @+2 AM & PM. ? Should I withhold tonight and feed a bit @+4 after this next test to encourage an onset drop?
Also I want to try to catch nadir tonight so that seems to suggest a +7, +8, and +9. But that could change too depending on what BG IS @+4, right?

Please feed her. We do not want to force a drop (or a reduction) by withholding food. In fact, food at regular intervals smoothens the curve and reduces sharp drops (and consequent bounces).
Yes, I would be guided by her +4 for future tests in the cycle.

I will set alarm to get a +8 [2:40AM PST]. That seems to be where more activity has occurred thus far. Thank you again.
Cali agreed “you are the best, because you said yes feed her.” She is a foodie and food drives her affections! Also warm vibes to cutie Bandit.

Oh yes, will we decide after +8 about dosing for 4/18/22?

Food @ +8 and real bites crumbled in water came back up within 3-5 minutes of eating. Scarf and barf, but I think she choked a bit on real bites when she jumped down off counter onto her steps. She walked around a bit then went back to bedroom.
Will test again @+9 [15-20 minutes] and offer small bite of Friskies.
