Good Saturday morning, Everyone,

It looks like Rusty continued his really nice green surf all night and this morning we have a good AMPS. He woke up early, finished his nighttime food, used his lb, and came back to bed to nap in the crook of my arm and wait for the alarm. Good test, shot, and breakfast (2 sittings), and now Rusty is in his basket next to the radiator (it's a cold, cloudy, very windy day--a good day to go btb, and that's just what DH is doing, but I have my weekend chores to keep me busy). We are taking Edward's canoe to get a couple of last season's chips in the gelcoat repaired today. Then on to the landfill. Then to check out a new supermarket that is opening in Lake Placid today (a Hannaford's--I hear they are pretty good) (but what I would really like would be a Trader Joe's!!!). This afternoon, if it's not raining, Rusty Cat will get to go outdoors.

Everyone have a great weekend. Healing vines to all kitties and beans who are under the weather.

I read that Rusty had some quality squirrel chasing time yesterday. Nice. Good exercise. For both Rusty and the squirrel.

Morning guys! What a great amps for Rusty - way to go! Looking to see green later Rusty, OK?

Good luck with the canoe repair - hope that goes well. Have fun too with the new supermarket. That should be fun. :-D And yes (!!!) on the trader joe's.

Enjoy your outdoor time today Rusty. Mannie says he will come and help you explore.... He is an avid outdoor fan. Don't get stuck on the stairs today though. OK?

that sounds like a pretty perfect saturday! throw in a fire in the fireplace and a good book and you've got perfection!

we just got a trader joe's here about a year ago and everyone's been all excited about it. i've gone maybe 4 times, but am used to a warehouse food type store and am still going there. it's about 3x as big as the trader joe's. have fun at the new place!

Morning Ella & Rusty!! Looks like Rusty is doing great ! We have the same weather, gloomy, windy, going to rain--I dropped DH off at airport and I am cleaning out drawers! Whoo Hooo!

I see you're back, Ella. Did you get the canoe fixed? How about the new store. We don't have anything interesting around here..
We're having horrible wind alllllllll day. It just won't stop!!

Yep, we're back. And Rusty has been coasting high green/low blue today. That's OK too. Weather is awful! Barb, the new Hannaford's supermarket has a lot of great stuff that I can usually only get in NYCity, and prices aren't bad, and the produce looks wonderful, but I don't think it will replace the Price Chopper as my supermarket, because the Price Chopper participates in a gas program with Sunoco in which you get $.10 cents a gallon off for each $50. of groceries you buy. It does add up and is very welcome right now, especially since it is cumulative (I got .50 cents a gallon off on my last fill-up; it's good to have parties and spend money!!). (In any event, I do most of my shopping in the local health-food market since it is within walking distance and since we are primarily vegetarians.)
The boat will be fixed by mid week. It has a stress fracture in addition to some chips (Edward must have really hit that rock!).

Hi Ella, I wish, too, you had a Trader Joe's nearby. It is my fav store. Very nice day for Rusty and WCR.

Hi Ella and Rusty. Sounds you had a great day out and about shopping. Rusty is looking wonderful. Choco, I and the other civvies followed in Rusty's paws and went btb this morning. Hope you all have a wonderful evening. :mrgreen:

Ella: what a beautiful day for Rusty. Sorry to hear the weather is inclement again but Edward had the right idea with a btb. I was just trying to picture a cat the size of Rusty curled up in a human's arms because my little stinka is tiny but when she curls up in my arms she just fits...wondering how a big boy does!! :lol: :lol: Glad you got a new market...sounds fun. Not sure how far east Trader Joe's has ventured...we have four...oops, sorry :lol: :lol: :lol:

I go to Trader Joe's only for the essentials...really good chocolate, and really cheap wine!

Thanks for stopping by our anniversary condo with good wishes. Kitty may be OTJ, but LL is still home!

totally agree about TJs. We waited YEARS and finally got one, and we love it. Three words: low-fat kettle corn. (Or is that four? :lol: )
