She's on a very small dose, so I think she'll be okay.
You're lucky you have someone who can check on her and get her to eat.

I did also mix some T&G into her breakfast as a bit of a cushion.
I'm really happy to see some numbers that are outside of 132-136, though.

Hi guys .. yay for dipping toes into some green! This mornings number is nice looking .. perhaps some more green .. maybe up to the knees? :-D have a great day!

I've noticed that Ruby still drinks a goodly amount of water, more than she did pre-diagnosis, but not as much as she did when she was less consistent with her BG. Is this normal? Its hard to tell exactly how much she pees when because she goes in the exact same spot in the litter box every time. She definitely drinks more in the 2 hours before her shot, after I take the food bowls away.

Not terrible seeing I fed her breakfast with T&G in it. We'll get her back down tonight.

(Based on my tracking, when she tests around 100 on the Alpha, she gets about 60 on the Relion meter.)
 
Nice....Miss Ruby is really cruising!

Have you had her blood checked for kidney and thyroid levels? They are also conditions that cause excessive water drinking and peeing.
 
My first thought was kidneys too. I wouldn't think she should still be drinking excessively at her lovely BG levels. Can you measure her water intake? If it's only in the 2 hours when she has no food that she does it I guess she could just be a bit hungry???

She mostly does it when I've taken the food bowls away, in those last 2 hours before a shot. I think she does it because she's hungry. Its not excessive. No where near the level she was when her numbers were sky high. Its just more than she did before she got sick to begin with.
