Maybe we are bouncing from the 129 yesterday? I don't know- it's just a very depressing day here. Like I said to Wendy it's sad that I get more help and conversation from strangers on an internet chat board than a vet clinic I've been going to for over 25 years.

The search for the IM specialist starts today. There is a post here (https://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB...l-medicine-specialist-near-ne-pa-area.288866/) if anyone is interested in following the search.

Hope all the kitties surf safely today.

Have you tried looking at the Veterinary Hospital at University of Pennsylvania in PHilly? Back when I took a cat there in the early 2000s it was by referral only and I had to fight with the vet to get the referral. However, it was exactly what we needed. They handle challenging cases.

Of course they have internal med vets there. Cerise had to go that route first (her internal med doc was Candace Carter) before seeing Dr. Urs Giger and getting the testing I knew she needed.

Thanks for this recommendation...I'll add them to the list
