Good morning all! Tessie is nothing if not consistent. I'll be glad when the vet calls and I can get her pain meds started.

Looks like lots of kitties are having beautiful low numbers this morning. Yay on that! Never a dull moment at Marjorie and Gracie's, though. We wish Marje (who has the flu) and Gracie (who likes the 40's this a.m.) a quick return to safe numbers!

Re: 4/15 Tessie Lou AMPS 332

Hi fellow night owls,
Just now getting back to visiting a few condos. It was a busy afternoon with errands, and then more painting. Will this house ever be ready to put on the market? What a job!

Thanks, everyone, for the good wishes today for Tessie Lou to feel better. She ate Merrick's Ocean Breeze for the first time today, and it gave her a tummy ache I think. She went and hid under the bed right after eating it--something she only does when she's scared! :? So, I see it has sardines in it (and smells awwwwwful), so maybe that's what did it. Anyway, no more of that stuff. I need to find some more flavors she will eat. So far, it's just Cowboy Cookout, Grammy's Pot Pie, and Surf & Turf. Now that she has CP, I have to watch the fat content. Does anyone know how much fat is in Fancy Feast Classics?

As far as her vet-ordered 15% food reduction, it's going better than expected. I just reduced each feeding by .2 oz. So, she's down to 7.8 oz daily now. That's down from 11 oz when she was first diagnosed in December. You'd think she would be losing some by now...fingers crossed.

Well, time to test and then I'm gonna call it a day.

Rusty & Willie, thanks for the nom nom soup! I coverd up what I couldn't eatz, so T.J. couldn't get it! Binks, I didn't know you could do hairz! I lubs the look & my bean says I'm beautiful again. Youz da bomb! Tessie Lou

Thanks for dropping by today! I am so glad I was one of the ones who was helpful to you, and glad that Kitty's story gives you hope. Paws crossed for Tessie Lou's progress. I hope the pain meds help.
