Yesterday's Condo

uh...when I put it all down like that above :o , I guess I AM a bit of a freak (enough for the WBR :lol: )

As far as my Shadow is concerned.....well...the noteworthy thing is that he is not eating with much speed and absolutely MUST have the sprinkled freeze-dried chicken on top. He goes very slowly over to the food and I hold my breath to see if he will eat. He has eaten at snack and meal times so that is good~~~but I guess he is getting tired of being poked. Not that he is anything but sweet and adorable when I approach him but I can see that he'd rather not have it done again! I just wanted to make sure there was no sudden drops so I tested often and am pleased with his beautiful numbers yesterday and last night especially! He is playing with his catnip mouse at the moment. Al P's have been in order over the past few days. Sweet Shadow! :-D

wow beautiful run of numbers yesterday and right up till amps today! Good luck with the nice numbers again today shadow .. I know you can do it!

Wow, Shadow boy has really done a turnaround! Great start, too! Maggie loves this freeze dried Salmon sprinkled on her food lately and almost finishes the bowl. Another thing I sometimes do to get her to eat the lc, which maybe is a no no, is to mix just a little of the FF beef with gravy. Not all the time, just when she's a little finicky and if her numbers are okay.

Hey Shad-0! Yea for play. I'll be over later this morning. But you have the advantage because your AMPS is more than 100 points lower than mine. That means I get a handicap! Eat your food so you'll have lots of strength, pal, you'll need it!

Hi Pat,

Those are lovely, lovely numbers.

I find that Basil will do that for a few days in a row with food. My new theory is that he likes a different food at every or almost every meal. I now have a bunch more FF flavors and he eats all with gusto--even the ones he has outright rejected in the past and that I wrote off as a loss for him!

For ear testing, I take 2 small pieces of dehydrated chicken, one in hand and on in pocket, and I give him one piece, test, then the other. He got a lot less unhappy to see me coming that way.

Pat, what a wonderful day Shadow had yesterday!! Yay!! I feel you on the food issues.. Baby MUST have dust sprinkled if she will even attempt to eat, but of course smells it 50 times first & will never just walk over to the food.. She has to have me hold the plate up to her face 2 or 3 times first.. It is absolutely driving me InSaNe!

Looking good Shadow! Except for the worrying your bean over the eating thing, quit that! Eat your foods and keep up your strength, there are parties looming!

Hey Shadow! What great numbers you are having! Now eat your food like a good boy & keep momma bean happy......if you keep her happy, she probably will give your ears a bit of a break in return!

Yay Shadow, great day! You must tell your mamabean to put down the strips, lol! Do her ears get red from so much testing? Scrabble's get irritated when I am testing a lot! He starts getting mad at me and flicking his ears. Great numbers for ya!!! Have a great day!!

I bet you are one tired mama-bean today! But getting to see those beautiful numbers was totally worth it.

All that non-talking about nuthin' yesterday and all your friends coming by to "not talk" must have worked wonders. (It was funny as all get-out though, every post funnier than the next. lol!)

I am a Virgo. :lol: Shadow had had a habit in the past of taking a dive to the lowest depths....I know that and I will be as prepared as I can be....I don't call him "Jacques-Yves Cousteau" for nothing! :lol:
He held a nice surf yesterday and I am very pleased...well...MORE than pleased!
I hate it when he does that finicky thing with the food. He looks at it and then cautiously approaches it to sniff it...and then hangs his head even lower as he turns away very slowly. I rush over with more chicken and he turns slowly back....approaches the dish again as if it is going to jump up and bite his nose. I am used to the ravenous Shadow and this finicky stuff is so alien. Coaxing them makes you feel like such a jerk. Opening another flavor and going through the routine all over again...sigh....aren't we fixated? :lol:

Sometimes you just got to do what you got to do.

Shadow will be fine with the eating.
But I so can picture you holding your breath as he walks to the food,
with another can at the ready.
You think we were the ones that slave over the stove all day for the
food that they eat. Waiting for approval.

Terrific numbers after that pokefest. You go girl. :-D

So disappointed that he is so high. :sad: What should I DOOOOOoooo? I was SO hoping for a low green PMPS and now he went and gave me a 137!! That's one point up from his +8...

Seriously~~~I am dumbfounded and speechless. And for ME that's reeeeeally saying something! :lol: I am just SO pleased and happy with his numbers.
(This is SO not like him.....you KNOW that I am now wondering if he is ill....sick with something dreadful. Something that has no symptoms. :-| THOSE are the worst diseases cause you don't know they are even there....!!!! :o

Shadow.. your curve looks like the beginning of a dog drawing ;). I'm sure D can do something creative with it, I can't draw at all.



Edit: I can however, for fun, write a perl webapp that lets me copy and paste a cycle of someones SS and turn it into various animal shapes! I seriously need to get out more.

I have to say this is probably the most fun and diverse condo around. :lol: Party planning, drawing lessons - ya got it all here. Glad to see Shadow's numbers had a very good start tonight. Are you also doing a pj party tonight??

You don't suppose Pat has gone Ni NI and not updated us all?? Why in the "old days" JoJo would have noodle her for not closing the condo for the night....... Shad -O - what are you down to ???
 
That is a most awesome picture! I'm with Dawn, can't even draw stick people. Color me impressed =)

Also wondering how our Shadow did last night... thinking Pat got stolen by the aliens...
