Yep, she did it again! I'm thinking she definitely needs to wake up and eat something in the mornings before I test - food seems to bring her down fairly quickly now...and waking her up from a deep sleep right after I've woken up does seem to give a slightly higher reading - probably a touch of Dawn Phenomenon going on there too. I'll take the 75 though - I like that number!!
She does have the option of food all the time now - I don't take the food away pre-test any more. She just doesn't seem to bother waking up herself until I'm awake so I think she's probably not bothering to eat much at all overnight. I think I'm just going to start putting off her AM test until I've been up for an hour and I know she's eaten something.
I'm really happy to see her drop back into green once she has eaten though - and even before that her numbers are in the normal range so I think she's doing well so far (anti-jinx)! And yes, half way there - a couple of months ago I'd never have thought I'd get to the point of being able to say that! I'm so, so happy with her and so grateful to everyone here - we wouldn't have got anywhere near this far without all the help from everyone on this board!
It really is the best thing I could have asked for this year - it's so great to see her doing well especially compared to how she was just 3 months ago!
Isn't it - I just saw you're in Everett. I've been there a few times since I got here at the end of 2013. It really isn't far from here at all and we're right next door to Kent!
I'm calling that 100 a green. There's been a load of noise here all afternoon - we've been cutting up wood to build some shelves and we've still got more to do this evening, so I'm calling it meter variance and stress from the noise and giving her a night off!
