Hahaha! Little stinker! Do you shoot then feed or feed then shoot? Shooter is such a good boy. He actually jumps up onto the bench to get his sugar checked before feeding. Thankfully both he and my last diabetic were super easy for testing and shooting. Here's a pic of Poppy - my last sugar baby. He lived to be 17.

Good morning, Kit. Mikan had a nice preshot today.:cool: Sneaky girl with a chase. Just what You didn’t need first thing this morning. ;)Hope the rest of the day goes smoother than the chase and she has a very surf.

Ooooh, such a cutie :kiss: Sounds like he had a great life despite FD - you are such an awesome mom, Heather!
Mikan likes to play an evasive game before Test, Feed, and Shoot while eating. Once I get her, pick her up and carry her downstairs to the testing site, she's totally docile and cooperative. Strange girl :rolleyes:

Hi Staci,
The funny thing is she is hanging out in the kitchen when I'm getting everything ready. Once I am ready to pick her up, that's when she engages in the evasive maneuver :rolleyes:
I'm pretty sure that she thinks it's a fun game (catch me if you can!)
This is the 5th cycle since the increase, so I'm hoping that she's getting on with the program here!

It’s good Mikan really doesn’t give you a hard time, Kit. Maybe she does think it’s playtime. :rolleyes:Although, at that hour the morning they really should know we’re not really that awake but, cats…:bighug::bighug:
 
Kit has been being a bit of a pill at shot time lately - she has decided she MUST poop right before, after which she gets a poo treat (if it's in the litter box). She used to just stay out in the living room for the few minutes it took me to prep things, and now she's like, I'm gonna head back to the closet now! And like, I can test her there, but the insulin shot is harder in that space because I can't get a good angle on her. And she's not fond of pick ups, but if she has certainly been getting them, because I am not interested in coaxing her out at 6 am. So a pick up she gets, and then we move on. :rolleyes::joyful:

Looks like Mikan's flexing her muscles today - happy to see her getting down to green :woot: but also anxious that she won't go for a deep dive :nailbiting:
