Yesterday's Condo
I have been so heartbroken since I saw the news about Milo that I just couldn't bring myself to sit down and write about my paltry troubles till now. Meredith is living one of our worst nightmares, and I send my thoughts and prayers to her and her family, with many
Cinco seems to be stuck on the yellow floor. I want him to move on down, but I told him to please wait until tomorrow night now. I have to be gone tomorrow from about +4.5 till almost t/f/s, and DH won't be here, either. Lunch with our financial advisor, followed by an appointment with my rheumatologist to try to get some relief - I need shots in four fingers and she will only give two at a time, so I will only be a little better. Arthritis sucks.
Minka has had a crappy appy all day. She had her acupuncture appointment today and was a very good girl, as usual. She still didn't want to eat when we got home so I gave her some Cypro, but she only ate a few bites of some Max Cat Duck. Eventually I got about 1.5 jars of baby food into her, and after fluids tonight I syringed about 7 mls of Purina NF. She acts eager to eat, but after sniffing the food, turns away. She's had Ondansetron and Pepcid this morning, and some Cerenia this afternoon, so I don't think it's an upset tummy. She hasn't been like this for a while, so it's a bit disconcerting. I may break out the Mirtz tomorrow if this continues, and the syringe feeding will again be on the table, too.
Sasha's appy is still great, even though she has been off the Pred for several days. Anti-jinx and paws crossed that it continues. I thought her purr sounded a little rough this am, and now I am on high alert to see if her allergies/asthma come back. I'm wondering if the meds made her better, or was it that she got away from whatever here is irritating her respiratory system?
Harvey is Harvey - eating like a pig and trying to steal everyone else's baby food! Snag and bag is still working out okay.
Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans. Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF, DH and DGD, Marje's DM, Chris' DM and Elise's DM.
