The big moving day is in three days!
Billy isn't allowed in my room : the door is always closed so that there isn't too much cat hair everywhere. DGF is allergic, so it helps a lot. Sometimes, when I go to bed, Billy calls for me behind the door. I get up, pet him, and then he walks away purring like a king. I kind of miss the days where I could sleep with both Billy and Mia, though. I sleep on my couch when I want to be near my little boy, but it just isn't the same somehow. So yesterday night I opened the door when I heard him mew. I called his name and he jumped on the bed with me. I figured I could allow him in my room for the 3 remaining days...!
I woke up every hour during the entire night (stress does that). I wanted to test him, but every time I'd open my eyes, he was just there, laying right next to me. Then I'd pet him a little and he would start purring. I just didn't have it in me to get up and go get the meter and put an end to such a special time with him. Ah, how I missed that.
This morning, I am feeling as happy as can be, thanks to a good night's sleep with the man of my life!
My Tim Hortons' coffee helps, too. Billy's numbers are looking just fine. And my sheets have cat hair all over them. But it was worth it!
