Ok...so I have nothing to say but that I am sorry to have to share that ugly number with you guys....
He is acting hungry this morning...so I fed him a bit more. And I am counting the hours till the dental....
3 Ps so far this morning....

Oh Pat! I know how upset you must be & I am sorry--I just know the dental will help tremendously!
So upsetting to get these numbers--Paws & fingers crossed for him to come down today, to at least, pink! Hugs from us!

Ouch these numbers have to hurt but I am sure the dental will help put Shadow back in good health and great #s.

Keeping you guys in our thoughts.

ow ouch. yep - I know exactly how you feel, been there far too many times myself. But I know too that it will clear. Come on down Shadow, OK? It will make your ban very happy. :-D

I gave him less insulin just in case he had dive bombing in mind. who knows with him. They will eat at 10 pm and then fast with no water for the rest of the night. I will be bringing them in between 8 & 8:30 and I am praying for strength tonight.....first time in a long time that I ill not be getting up at 3am. I hate to even test them in the morning cause they will think tht food is next on the agenda, but i do want to know that AM number.
If it is too low, many vets cancel the dental....so, I like to give them less insulin the night before and none in the morning of course....
Fingers crossed that all will be well for them tonight and then tomorrow for the old Dental.

The other day I wanted to test Shadow. I forgot to tell you all this story....He was on top of my chest of drawers in the corner of my bedroom. He stood up, looked at the cat condo by the window where he usually jumps to from the high chest of drawers..... and then proceeded to leap through the air onto my bed!!! It;'s a good four feet and maybe a bit more! I was sooo surprised!! Out of the clear blue \sky, he decides eh wants to be airborne! Oh Shadow..you keep me entertained my boy!! :lol:

Aw, I hope you can still catch a good night's sleep, Pat.

That story with Shadow made me laugh. Maybe he's related to a flying squirrel! :lol:
