Hi Everyone,

Rusty is doing well. He and Edward had a good day with lots of outdoor time yesterday, while I was out on a hike along the Ausable River (raging) to a spectacular waterfall: Beaver Meadow Falls. The trail was steep in spots and overlooking the river the whole time--incredible rapids. Here's a pic of the Falls. We had lunch at this spot:

Off to the post office now. bbl. Edward and I are going to do our first paddle of the season this afternoon, if it warms up enough. One of the local lakes is completely free of ice (the others are still iced over)

Hi again,
We started our "Monoject week" this morning. Measuring the dose continues to be hit and miss. This morning there was about 1/2 drop left in the syringe and we didn't get good duration. We'll see what happens with the evening shot. I do like the good line markings on the MJs. I only wish they were further apart. And, of course, there is the "cone".

Rusty had some good outdoor time this afternoon when we got back from our paddle. It was a beautiful day for our first paddle of the season, on Kiwasssa Lake (where we did our last paddle of the seeason last fall).

I can totally understand your love for hiking when you get to see such wonderful places....I just wish it didn't require so much work!!

Phooey on the syringes.....I know you're trying to make the Terumo's last as long as possible, but I wonder if you might want to just use them and get it over with and then spend the time figuring out the MJ's....seems like going back and forth would be harder to me and delay the inevitable. At some point you're going to have to figure out another syringe one way or the other (unless the company should all the sudden decide to start making them again....wouldn't that be great?)

I got the Relions but haven't worked enough with them yet. I can't bear the thought at the moment! The one I did a little work with had a very sticky plunger.

@Chris & China : I may indeed follow your advice on the syringes.
