his cycle was active last night…… down to 70s.. he did not feel very good at all i could tell.. i only gave 1/2 but now realize his numbers may have been elevated from stress/vet.. should have skipped but only realized later.. and the hour is terrible (!!!) i was willing cuz i didnt expect too much.. and instead up all night checking him.. and giving snacks. (thank god he ate!!!!…. this was SCARY..) and because of the time not many here were on or maybe saw me too.. he seemed a little lethargic.. not sure if frm combination of just being sick or the stress of going in and out yesterday to vet, both (cuz health generally is ok otherwise we seeing..).. plus greening after a few cycles of not.. did not anticipate numbers doing that.. wanted him to have bit higher numbers rn so he can just heal and feel ok (the doctor too)..

this is really difficult to navigate sometimes.

skipping this AM for better time.. i have to. :( and to give break i guess.. hes so tired. me too. im just, not sure what happened.. and not sure what to do tonite. was it the depot flushing a little at this point?.. numbers werent too bad but w everything going certainly didnt want them.. (cause the dose has decreased a little for now..) gave only half again.. maybe should do only a quarter.. but im confused.. would that have been even more a problem.. last night was just scary. :( Alas.

hes ok this AM.. but idk. he just ate a nice little snack and treats.. so glad. acting better.. just gonna observe.

got so much help and advices past few days, appreciate it a lot.. :bighug: but if anyone has some more insight etc.. appreciated too.. :coffee:

I'm so sorry you've had such a difficult time recently with Pudge. And such an active night can be so scary!
Glad he's eating for you today.
I would use the ? Prefix in the drop down menu to get some attention and some good advice on how to handle dosing questions so they know you need help (and use a "question" like "dosing help needed").
Sending you both good wishes for good eating and a quick recovery for Pudge. I hope you can both get some needed rest.
Sending hugs your way :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I'm glad he ate! Sending you lots of healing vines :bighug::bighug::bighug:
Do they think it could be pancreatitis? ( we had that in February....ugh, what a mess with not eating and very loose stools)
I think the Cerenia helped a lot and I added S Boulardi to try to firm up the loose stools. Plus pain meds were needed.

I hope you aren't dealing with all that!! :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

thinking maybe gastritis; or something w the tummy.. no loose stools for some time now. eating ok (better) too and medicine wore off last night. :) i gave him probiotic earlier. also he might be traumatized going to vet twice.. :/ he just had a bit of a snack. tysm.. im sorry u had to deal w that as well!! :/ its a thing.

I'm so sorry you've had a rough couple of days. How's he doing today? What did the Vet say was wrong with Pudge?
hii.. today he is better.. not 100% tho and he's been upset I think about things, the vet is very stressful for him and he also doesn't like the car ride.. he had to go twice to get poked double for blood because the first test didn't register right.. worked out tho cause we could talk to vet and he got his nails trimmed.. figured there was a good reason from the cosmos.. I got to meet her too and really liked her.. now just letting him relax.. im appreciative I had family w me for a bit to help us through and everyone here was w us too.. helps a lot.

the vet gave a few reasons possibly cuz his blood looks really good generally.. she said maybe some gastritis, which now im leaning towards.. something w the tummy.. he's eating bit better and has pottied.. im so happy. potty looking well. I called to update on it.. he got probiotic this morning too cuz I called to see how to help his tum.. was scary last night tho w his numbers...... and haven't heard anything on it. vet said 1/2 so.. wasn't sure either but I've been told 1/2 is what to do, and since we want him to heal and get better, doc told me that too. but w the numbers last night idk.. anyway gave it to him.. but the time is better too and routine.. not sure if should've done a 1/4 idk.. but he's eating.

Those numbers look good last night, green is good! Very glad he seems to be doing better with the eating (anti-jinx). Sorry I’m joining this late, but what’s your main question right now? What to do about his dose tomorrow? I’m curious too if/when you should go back to his usual.
