4/14 Jack 229@AMPS, starting day 3 of 7units

Nothing new, Jack is being super picky and super fresh when it comes to food; think he is punishing me for leaving him with his ex-Dad and a neighbor last week. I only manged three tests yesterday, with catching up for work and such. He stayed pretty steady in the 200's most of the day. Keeping 7 units, need some stability, going back to NY this weekend to continue to deal with family issues and really hoping to not have to ask the neighbor to do anything other than pop in and get a visual check on him. We have summer weather here the past few days, temps in the 90's (crazy) quite unexpectedly, and no AC has been put in the windows yet, so I'm wondering if Jack is feeling the heat before I've had a chance to give him his summer haircut. (He has very thick fur, and because he is overweight, doesn't groom properly. He gets hair clumps but hates to be brushed. Once a year he gets a 'trim' to make both our lives easier)
Have a good day, all.

Morning Christine, did he give his ex dad trouble when you left him when it came to eating? Here in N.J. the same weather you had yesterday was 90 and today is supposed to be 85, then back to 70 , 64 on Monday and 56 on Tuesday. It's crazy isn't it.
Has Jack always been fussy when it cones to eating?
I'm sure you tried everything like putting Parmesan cheese on his food.
Safe trip when you head back to NY. :bighug::cat:

Yes, he was a picky kitty for both the neighbor and his Dad. He has always been been picky; he always got the kibble he wanted, and just picked at the wet food until his diagnosis when I tried to change everything and he put his little kitty tail in the air about everything. I actually have not tried Parmesan cheese on his pate, I will add it to my grocery list and try that tomorrow evening! Thanks for that suggestion!!! He was good for NY- just bouncing all over, and the neighbor did a visual check for me me and he was good for those. He appreciated the extra attention, I believe...LOL
