I really am wondering how I'm going to adapt to Maine winters and practically non-existent "spring" after 30 years in DC ...

Yes!! It's where I grew up. I've been asking my employer to let me work remotely for a long time, but it took a pandemic to finally convince them. I'm equal parts anxious about leaving so many people and things that I love in DC and excited for a new adventure, so we'll see how it all shakes out. :nailbiting::joyful::cat:

I wish you the best of everything!! I love working remote. Best thing I ever decided to do. Not seeing people does not bother me in the slightest!!
