Wednesday's Condo

Sorry no condo yesterday! Between a hectic day at work and attempts to get spring cleaning done in the evening so I can devote weekend time to yard work and gardening, it was a busy day!

Willie had a great day yesterday, and while he has stayed out of the way of my cleaning, Herbie has been working hard to be the very bestest of helpers. She also was sure to put as many toys as possible into the laundry piles so they would get nice and clean. :roll: :roll: :roll: Willie's been out in the rain, though I hear him coming through the door now. Sure I'll get a talking to about how I'm responsible for him being all wet!

Mourning with all of LL the loss of BigMac and sending lots of love to Carolyn in her time of grief. Sending out special thoughts to our ailing kitties, including Rusty and Atlas, as well. Much love from us!!

Just finished mowing both lawns... it's a sunny, dry evening and we're supposed to have rain all weekend. Had to laugh as Herbie greeted me when I came back in with the same greeting she gives Willie... something to the effect of oh, mah gawd!!! u surbibed!!! I thawt dat big scurry machine wud eat you!! Why u do dat?!?!? Hate to break it to her, but there's laundry put away and dinner to cook!! :lol: :lol:

Julie-- Turns out, it was a pokeweed. In the South, many people eat both the stalks and the leaves, though some say the leaves are poisonous and all say that if you don't cook it just so... I think I'll pass. Ran it over with the mower tonight.
