Yesterday's Condo

Hit 106 at +10 Whatcha think D? It could be a result of me being late with his shot last night. ohmygod_smile And then I screwed up this morning and was late again by 15 minutes. What should I expect to see as consequences for that? I've lost a total of 45 minutes between last night and this morning. Not concerned about schedule for my sake, I can roll with it, just concerned about the impact on his progress. Will Tankboy just plow right through, ya think? I do believe I need to set an alarm though because hubby is distracting the carp out of me.

He's been wrestling with Echo this morning. Eating well and active and seems happy =) He slept by daddy's feet all night, which is different, usually he's by mine because daddy moves too much and they have to jump to avoid being flung. I move my legs around them, even in my sleep apparently, so I almost always have one or four cats somewhere around me and he just has BB snugged up to his chest or back (he's a heat producing machine, she loves that!)

I just got off the phone with Verizon and ordered hubby his own dang internet line, cuz I just can't take it anymore. I haven't been able to post updates on his numbers, I'm late with shots, grrrr. So I'm going out today to buy a double alarm clock that will live here on my desk and be set for shot times and never turned off so it will also serve to remind the guys to do it if I am not here for some reason. Should solve those two problems. Hubby has promised to adjust his whatever he's doing in there stuff so that I can get some bandwidth when I need it and I will have to compromise a bit too I guess for the next week till it's installed but life will be easier. *antijinx*

I don't know what to say about the 106 at +10 last night. That does seem odd...but really, it's not a bad number. Definitely still in the range of "normal" so shouldn't be an issue. What's more interesting is that he came down from it on his own! :-D

And between me and my DH, we screwed up Max's shot time by a total of 2.5 hours over the weekend. We're just now back at normal. Doesn't seem to have affected Max at all--he still earned his decrease to the fat 0, and looks like he's trying to earn his gum in record time! :-D

Not too worried about one low blue -- if we start seeing more than fatten up dose. Make up the time diff this evening, shoot early by however minutes he has gotten off schedule.
AMPS 80 is lovely.

Nice AMPS for Tugger this morning...sounds as if you have done a great job of problem-solving for a few issues....great job! Wishing you well with all the new ideas! :thumbup Good job!!

Sorry Marvie, but I'm sitting here smiling, at your stories. It is certainly an adjustment, when another person is suddenly in the house. (As a widow, I envy your adjustment.)
Looking forward to Tugger chewing yummy gum. *antijinx* Another excuse for a party :-D

If you have one desktop computer and a laptop, why not put in a wireless router? You can then move around with the laptop.

I like the surfing that's going on here! I also wouldn't take one number out of context. It's only one number.

Oh we are wireless. I have a desktop laptop that stays put because it's huge and heavy as well as a tiny little notebook that moves around with me. Hubby has two laptops (and will probably be building a desktop to game on before too long) and the boy has a laptop and a desktop as well as his Xbox. All or many of which could be online at the same darn time.

Yes, we are a technological family rofl. I only use the stuff, hubby is the one who buys it and builds it and knows what it is capable of doing or how to fix it if it breaks. I just play with the toys he gives me ;)

Life will be better if he has his own internet line. The boy and I share no problem, his gaming doesn't impede my web stuff at all, it's when you throw hubby and his stuff onto the same line that all heck breaks loose because then the boy can't game and I can't get pages to load so we're steaming cat(2)_steam but he's in there happily downloading away or whatever the heck he's doing.

ROFL I used to have some interest years ago but once I married him, I just let him have that and found new things. He loves it so much and he's a man who needs to feel like he's great at something, so I didn't want to compete or make him feel like he had to. I just don't have the energy for that lol. He can be my hero and fix my broken stuff for me and figure out the tech I don't want to be bothered with ;)

Ah men.. aren't they adorable :).. my guy is into tech too and is a programmer.. but seeing as am a Senior DBA/Unix Sysadmin (for those that don't know.. that's pretty much the top level of geekdom that exists).. I can't play stupid as far as computer things and get away with it.. but I'm also 5'2 so I can play the helpless wussy woman just fine.. and he loves it (and I think that on some level he knows I'm not.. but he doesn't care.. guys are great hehe).

Kind of like mine knows that I'm capable of doing many things but I choose not to if he's around to do it for me (like the toilet that was running last night. I could have stopped it, but he's home so I made him do it.) If I wanted to bother myself I could google it and figure out how to fix the broken whatever which is what I do when he's gone and it has to be done right away.

My sis went to school for sysadmin, mostly just because some guy told her it was a man's field so she did it, excelled at it, then gave it up lol.

It IS a mans field imo.. you need to have some serious OCD and a twisted sense of humour to be a woman and stick with it :)

You just described my sis to a T :lol: She'd have done well if she'd have stuck with it. She stays home and home schools her two beautiful brilliant daughters now though. Her youngest taught herself to read at 3 and her oldest (13) is doing college level work in some subjects already. I think she works harder now!
