Yesterday's Condo

Shadow greeted the day with a mid-yellow which is a good thing. Everyone seems happy and content this morning.. There was a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence though. 20 minutes before the alarm was set to go off, Raja came over to me and actually jumped up near my face...she never does that in the morning....it was as if to say "OK, I see your eyes are open~~might as well get up now. I wouldn't mind an early breffis!!"
Happiness IS an early breffis!

Wishing a good day for Shadow and Good Morning to you and Raja. That is so cute with Raja! Every once in a while Maggie will jump onto the bed near my head and just stare until I finally get up!

How cute about Raja! I have a picture I need to post of Basil grabbing my arm in hooking a claw into my sweater as I passed by one day. He gave me such a pleading look--all to get fed 15 minutes early. LOL!

I hope Shadow has some purty numbers today.

Good morning Pat, Shadow and Raja! You know, there isn't anything better than to have our guys/gals wake us up with kitty kisses or come to hang out with us on the bed. Spot has gotten into the habit lately of waking me up between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. for a snack...will start kissing my face until I get up. Then we walk to the kitchen (well, I walk, he runs), only to find that his timed feeded really did open at the scheduled time (2 a.m.)...guess he misses his +7 test and snack and this is his way of getting "it".

Hope Shadow comes down lower for you today!

Ok shadow ... this is a good start to the day ... you could easily go places with this number so I hope you decide to go downtown and not uptown. Uptown is for sissies and you ain't no sissy, right???

Pat, so happy to see a much better mid yellow number for Shadow today.
It for sure has the potential of gping to some really nice places.

This morning I wsw oken by the alarm and sister CHloe who decided to walk all over
my back. Who needs a spa??? Cat Massage. :-D

Yeah yeah, I could clean it off, but I like yelling at him to "CUT IT OUT!", at 5 am. :lol:

Hey Man! You won the +4 by 21 points (178 vs. my 199). My +6 was 155. Can you beat that?? I'm shallow-curving today (the way Lantus is supposed to work, so my bean says). My next test is at +9. Ellabean is happy because she can go out on her bike without worrying that I'll go hypo. See you at +9.

I tested every 10 minutes...and syringed lots of HC gravy cause he did not want to eat anything. I don't like it when he refuses to eat when he is so low. Anyway, will keep an eye on him. Finally got that break through.
I ran around like a one-armed paper hanger while Raja slowly wandered over to the bowls that had the HC gravy..."Well....what have we here???" NOOOOoooo Raja...that's NOT for YOU! :o She dud manage to take a bite from one lone dish that had gravy on top of LC food but I grabbed it before she could really dig in sufficiently.
I feel bad for Shadow cause he likes to savor the rich gravy...but not today....crazy lady with the syringe kept gagging him....well, not really. :lol: I guess a bounce will follow...you are right MJ. :YMSIGH:

Wow! You had quite the afternoon. I hope Shadow has settled down and given his mamabean a rest. And Shadow: you're supposed to eat when you have those green numbers. Maybe Shadow thought Blackie was having too much fun yesterday. I hope he doesn't join him in RBC.

He really hasn't eaten much since the loads of gravy he had. We all know that he will bounce. SOOOOOooooo....I don't know what to shoot cause I don't see his number going up too much in the next hour. I am keeping my fingers crossed that he will eat when the time comes.
I had upped his dose to 1.50u last night. With the <40 number of +6.15=30 I should rightfully be going down to 1.25u now.....but not at this low number. He is squeaking at me now so that's a good sign.
Any thoughts?

He ate like a piggy and I guess he pushed Raja away from her bowl. I was happy to see him eating like that. What a day....wish i had checked him at +5...but I am thankful I checked him at +6. Whew.

I think it was the right thing to do. Maybe it will help keep the bounce down a little, that would be nice. I won't hold my breath, but Shadow, you want to make me happy, right?

He is on the cat tree now, resting. He is upset that he and Stu can't play these games anymore. He takes dares and competition too seriously it seems. Wish he had been a little more competitive with his sister when she was getting blues and greens. Oh well. Water under the old bridge. I told him he can't make bets and take dares and that he and Stu should just both get nice numbers without the contests...
What a stick-in-the-mud I am, huh? :lol:

I'm glad he came back up nicely, Pat, but since I don't know anything about how bounces work, I'll be curious for tomorrow's condo, to see what he did tonight.

Holy cow, Pat!! You had QUITE the day, didn't you guys? I'd say that for sure Shadow shouldn't take on races with Stu. Ella could hire Stu out for service, though, for beans who want their kitties to have some dramatic action.

Holy carp Shadow! I thought Max and Scrabble were going to be the ones to watch yesterday but you sure showed them up! Hope today is a nice sunny yellow or even a nice cool blue for you! No stinkus-pinkus today ok?
