Yesterday was an all day slide, with a possible toe dip in the lagoon during the day but a lot of time splashing around at night. :-D Of course, it had to be at night again. :shock: But I do love a good 70's surf.

Today is what the weather people like to call mixed conditions. It started out gray and dry, and Neko got a short yard patrol in after breffs. Then it rained for a while, and now the sun is peaking through, so Neko is out in the solarium. The forecast says possible hail and thunderstorm with strong wind later this afternoon, which will cause Neko to come racing inside. I'm hoping the thunderstorm will not come to pass, both for Neko's sake and for DH who is supposed to be racing tomorrow. Lighting is one thing that keeps the boats off the water. :twisted:

I hope everyone is having a great Caturday. I love to see those OTJ trials marching on and new kitties seeing blue and green surfs for the first time! It was quite the PJ party last night along with Jupiter, Purrface and Oliver.

Hi Wendy! WOW on last night - what a great green surf for Neko. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Bummer on the pinks today, but at least they aren't too high.

the weather is the same here too: a mixed bag. We've had a little of everything: the darn car was even iced over this morning. :shock: crazy weather day. it should be good weather her tomorrow - partial sun, only 20% rain chance. Hopefully all will go well for DH and his race.

Nice greens last night. I hope Neko keeps sliding down for you. Hopefully you don't get the bad storms.

Hi guys,

"Mixed" weather is better than all cold, icy rain! We hope for some "mixed" tomorrow! It's great that Neko enjoyed her green surf last night. The LagoonMeister was there for some of it. Will she repeat the performance tonight? (Unfortunately, Rusty has left the lagoon!)

Good idea to stay off the water during electrical storms!!!!! Good luck to your DH on his race tomorrow. You'll be racing again soon, too, Wendy.

Neko, what's up for tonite little one? That was a gorgeous surf last night..encore? Hi Wendy, I hope the weather is good for DH tomorrow on the water. Fingers and paws crossed he has a great race. It must be frustrating to be sidelined. I hope your elbow is good to go soon.

that's the joke around here, is just blink and look again because it 's changed.

Another pink to blue slide. :-D This afternoon was mostly sunny with the odd shower. Neko found one of the dry times to go for a little wander outside. We have a "wild" corner with a couple of hemlock trees and rhododendrons underneath. It's a good place to "hide" and watch the world. Don't tell her I can see her from the main floor of the house. :lol: Black and white cats just don't blend in well.

@Michelle - I am happy when all we get is a mid pink bounce and it seems short lived. :-D Yikes on the iced over car! There was supposed to be flurries at higher elevations last night here, but we're not high enough. No T-storms so far.

@Carla - Yup, an all day slide it is. There are bunches of ugly dark clouds but nothing noisy so far. Paws crossed.

@Ella - Can't tell with Neko, she is sliding down and on the shore, but who knows what she'll do next. Maybe she can talk to Rusty and they can head back together tonight. Rowing shells have metal riggers - not a good idea to be near metal on open water near T-storms. I don't do a lot of races, especially now. Regattas start early and timing doesn't work with shot times.

@Mary - The race is mostly a fun race. DH is in a double with someone over 20 years younger, which unfortunately drags him down into a younger average age category. Oh well, half the fun is trying out a new course. There is a chance Neko might keep me up tonight - I just never know with her. I wouldn't be up to racing even if I could.

@Rhiannon - Springtime we get a lot of variable weather, not so usual the rest of the year. And Neko has found the blues. :-D

Looks like the slow slide up again. Ni Ni for me.

@Liz - The blue slide started out nicely, but she's loosing it. I visit physio again on Tuesday so hope to get an update then on when I can go back on the water. It's 8 weeks since the break.

Hi Wendy - I think I missed visiting yesterday - you left coast folks don't post condos early enough for me!!! Rats on Zener's rise - I hope she settles for a nice Sunday. Thanks for the condo visit - you have the best graphics and pics!
