Another pretty green day yesterday for Tinkles. He did have one low blue number overnight, because I overdid the carbs to make sure he was safe. I was so tired, I knew I would likely sleep through an alarm...better safe than sorry!

WCR: Tinkles climbed the tree again yesterday....I was holding Pita, so I couldn't get my phone out to catch it...I'll keep trying! He is purry and feeling great. He started sleeping in the cubes again....I guess he only likes them when the weather is warmer because he ignored them all winter! :lol: He didn't want to eat breffis this morning, he wanted to play with his mouse instead. He has been feisty the last few days about getting his shot, he knows we give him his shot while he's eating breffis and dinner, so he tries to avoid it. He took off on DH the other night when he was getting ready to shoot, he had to chase him down and put him on the counter to shoot! He has just been sniffing the food and walking away with me, so I end up having to do the same.....put him on the counter with his food to give the shot. I'm needle phobic, so it really stresses me out when he puts up any sort of fuss when I'm shooting! nailbite_smile Behave Tinkleman! All Ps in place, appetite great as usual.

Beautiful numbers for Mr T today! How comical about his refusing to eat because of the attending shot! That could be a problem!!! Tinkles, you'll just have to put up with the shot to keep your numbers as nice as they are.

Looks like spring has many of our furkids feeling feisty!!! Positively LOVELY cycle for Mr. T today!!! Hope it is a great day for you as well!!

hahaha, that is a very funny story about how to avoid shots, Mr Tinkles, but you are not to tell it to Punkin!!

I was telling my sis-in-law this morning about the ridiculousness of the whole process with punkin. i put on my glasses & my uber-cool miner's headlamp. hold the syringe in my mouth, a bowl of food for punkin in my left hand, bowl for anya in my right hand and head for the laundry room. put down anya's food inside the room, push her in with my foot and close the door. put down punkin's food in the corner between the wall and the hutch with his behind toward the hutch. get in nice and close so my uber-cool miner's headlamp is shining on that lovely long orange hair - push my glasses up a little higher, and with my body boxing him in, go for the jugular vein! that or his scruff!

she said "would you please, please, please email me a picture of you?" i said no.

if i show up in my get-up perhaps it will scare Mr Tinkles so much that he will sit down and beg you to send away the crazy lady and just give him his shot. :lol:

thanks for the advice today! there is so much to learn!!!!
