So, I shot in his left side yesterday instead of scruff... and it's looking better already. I can't even tell you when my last green PS was.

That being said, I feel like I will regret shooting this AM after we return from the vet. But I am sure it'll all work out.

Well, we're back!

So basically, his declaw was not done correct when he was a kitten and the vet didn't take enough bone off. I was right, it was a inbedded nail sinking into his paw pad. I am very glad I brought him in! They had to sedate him so now he'll be high for the rest of the day LOL. The vet put a leg wrap of gauze around his foot since it apparently bled a lot when they cleaned it up. Stoned Gordy doesn't appreciate it. (Photo below)

I hate this sedation though, because one of the uppers in the reversal prevents Gordy from sleeping. =( a lot of time staring blankly into the distance.

He happily ate some MC when we got back.

He has already torn off the gauze it was mainly there for bleeding, so I'll just keep an eye out.

Luckily, the sedation reversal makes him ravenous. I think it has an appetite stimulant in it. I just feel bad that I will have to annoy him with pokes... he is finally snoozing off.
