DC is having a better day today food wise. Not by his numbers though.
He's eaten more today than he has in a while.
I was gone most of the day and my best friend was watching him and testing.
She actually got DC to eat some LC food. He ate 1/8 can twice throughout the day.
He also ate about 1/4 cup EVO kibble during the day.
DH gave his last dose of Cerenia for this cycle, so we'll see what happens without it for the next few days.
He still gets his 1/4 pepcid at shot times.
He still hides and wails and cries when he sees the syringe for feeding.
I only managed to get 3cc of Medi-Cal Recovery into him this morning.
He's still drinking water on his own and I am still giving 40ml SubQ at least twice a day.
The hospital at the small town where I am visiting was very nice today. I took a friend there for an appointment and mentioned to a nurse that I was giving SubQ fluids to my cat.
She gave me 4 butterfly needles that I use and a spare 60ml syringe. She didn't have any lactated ringers solution or should would have given me that too.
That saved me $15, not a lot, but every little bit helps.
Only 4 P's in place. No poops yet.
