Good Evening Everyone,
I've been out on my bike all day on the ride to Liberty State Park. Gorgeous day: sunshine, clear air, temps in the 60s. I did 45 miles and some of the group did about 60 (they took the long way back to Manhattan, while I and some others took the NY Waterways ferry). We had 25 riders (May is "Bike Month" in NYC). DH and Stu had a good day. Stu ate his food with relish and contributed to his lb, but I don't think they played. Stu seems really bored today. He was annoyed at being tested. He's biding time until we get home on Saturday. His numbers have been rather high and getting higher and I think it might be time to go back up to 2 units. But not till we get home.
The performance of "Lulu" at the Met last night was fantastic. Really wonderful. The cast was terrific and the orchestra, under it's new permanent guest conductor (Luisi) played beautifully. But it wasn't over until midnight and we didn't get home until 1 A.M. and this morning I was out on the bike at 7:45--so not much sleep. (But Stu didn't pound and we were able to sleep without that interruption!)
I hope that all the kitties are fine. I'm going to check in at a few condos tonight, but I'm pretty tired, so I may just go back downstairs and listen to the ball game (at the moment I'm up on the roof in the "party room", where there is wi fi).
See you all tomorrow.
