Yesterday's Surf

Wow. Willie had an awesome run last night, and has only gone up 12 points in the last 6 hours. woo hoo! For those asking about the pouches, they were actually Special Kitty from Walmart. We had the "Filet Mignon flavor with shrimp" which ingredient wise is actually almost all chicken. I found a feline obesity site claiming a 10% carb ratio, so mixing the gravy with the raw actually should work well as a regular food for us. I'll post the link once i'm at a real computer.

Poor guy ate a ton last night and didn't eat much this a.m. he is already back asleep next to me... facing me with his paw on my arm. Time for a few cuddles before heading off to tbp for a client training session. At least this particular client is really sweet and fun to work with.

I caught up with yesterday's post early this morning and what a cycle you had with Willie. That's good to know about the "Special Kitty" pouches at Walmart. Beautiful cycle today; I think Willie likes this dose. I hope your day is going well with the new client.

Still going strong Willie! Back to the lagoon tonight? Sounds like a group is gathering.

What a beautiful SS, blue and green was always my favorite color combo.

Thanks to everyone for stopping by tonight... and sorry I haven't made it to many condos!! I've been reading everyone's posts, but didn't have much time to post today at tbp, and tonight I was just tired and zoned out in front of the TV. Willie has been difficult tonight... put down straight raw to start, and he sniffed it and looked at me like "you really think you're going to get me to eat THAT?!? Seriously?!? As. If." Even when I put a bit of the SK pouch gravy on it... I hadn't put enough in or mixed it enough... and he started throwing a temper tantrum.... constantly under foot, hollering about how abused he was and how I was to EMPTY THAT POUCH IN HIS BOWL..... NOW!! :shock: :shock: At that point, we had a stern talk about acceptable behavior in our house... and how such tantrums were NOT on the list. After finally getting a fingerful of the food into his mouth, he decided that "oh. there IS gravy in there." and promptly ate it. *sigh* We've declared a truce for now.

Was pleasantly surprised to see green at +3.5. He has been so flat at +1 and +2 lately that when I got the 133 at +2, I figured the bounce was on. But not so fast! Still going to take advantage of the higher numbers and go to bed early. Last night just wore me out!!

Hope everyone has a great night... and that all the kids had fun on Day 2 of Operation Nippatch. It appears that Willie was at least able to sneak out for a bit!!
