Yesterday's Condo

Shadow is hungry this morning and pushed Raja away from the last bit of her breffis. He seems so happy without any problems. Wish I was as ignorant of the facts. At any rate, he will be getting a dosecrease tonight since this dose didn't seem to do any tricks for him.

(((Pat))) I'm so saddened by Shadows backsliding :cry: Things were going well with the plan then the bottom fell out, which I can find no explaination for. You mentioned earlier you were considering a vet visit, perhaps there is something going on with him (infection, allergy?) there has to be an explaination and I think others have found themselves in this situation and eventually they have uncovered "something" that was causing the problem.

In any case yes I think you need to increase, perhaps this "up and down" is the method in the maddness. Shadow has to keep going up and each time on the way down he will go one step lower, eventually he will find the ground floor. He's just going to give the elevator a heck of work out before he's finished!

Sorry his numbers aren't cooperating, Pat. He is a man, so maybe he's just being difficult so that he'll continue to get extra attention! Hope he comes down some today. If not, good luck with the dosecrease tonight. It sounds like he's feeling ok, though.

Which insulin is Shadow on -- I am going to check SS. Didn't I read something about a change in insulin, or was that someone else? I wonder what's up with Shadow?

Aw, Pat. I'm sad to see this, too. I was just saying in Sienne's condo that some people seem to get such predictable numbers and some just get one curve ball after another. Hang in there. I thnk Monique is right--he'll wend his way down in his own good time.

Top of the morning to you, Pat.. Shadow & Raja too!! Pushing others away for breakfast? Super cute!! I love eager appetites!! Ignorant of the facts, eh? Atleast the WCR is awesome!! I think out of better #s, or a healthy kitty -- you got the good end of the deal!! Now.. We just need a meeting of the minds (hear that Shadow??)) anyway.. A meeting to get the WCR & #s groovy!! Hey man! I won our high bg contest this morning!! Now let's both get busy and get those numbers down! The beans are upset. Even when we feel great, they look at those numbers and shake their heads. Pat-- Looks like he lost momentum when you went to .75U--Moonie hsa done this so often, as I told you, Not to worry...He'll be back in nice numbers real real soon--He looks & feels good, so that is most important!..

Good Morning, Pat. I have no words about Shadow's numbers, as I'm no kind of authority, I'm just sorry it upsets you.
He's happy and how cute that he pushed Raja away from breffis. Remember, it's the whole cat that's important, he's not just a bg number. I had to learn that when I first came to FDMB, freaking about high numbers.
He's happy and fiesty! :smile:

Hey Pat,

Love the photo you posted this afternoon of these two snoozing. I think they are telling you it's okay and to follow their lead.
You get to have a "frustrated" day now and then 'cause you are always cheering us on. Shadow is a little puzzle for you. He just wants to keep you guessing. Tomorrow is a new day!

Yep...that's what they did! They melted right into it. So stressed, right? :lol: Not a care in the world....

AMPS=325 ~1.25u Lev (6th cycle)

PMPS=300 ~ 1.50u Lev (1st cycle)

They both left a bit of their dinners in the bowls tonight. I guess I gave them too much at +8...maybe that's what it was. I served fish and gave them each a half a can....Raja pigged out and ate just about all of it and he left some. Shadow got a bit more juice tonight. I tested for Ketones...negative...That is always a good thing!
Very quiet day around here today....no news is good news
