Happy Caturday! Rachel continues to be in our thoughts and prayers as does Betty and Lauren. Too many of our LL kitties have crossed lately. We are also keeping Rex and Rich in our prayers that Rex's kidney values will come down. Cheering on Jersey and Boots in their OTJ trials!!
LBG was my little snuggle bunny last night along with my Tobey boy. I can't figure out their latest thought processes. If Mike is home....no kitties in bed (although they used to do it all the time). Mike gone....both kitties snuggled up with me. So it's either too hot when he's home or he "hogs" too much of the bed    Or they feel sorry for me because they know how much I miss him! Gracie did tell me that she used to like to sleep on his pillow and keep his head warm but he INSISTS on using a tiny bit of one corner for his head thus preventing her from getting the full use of the pillow. Beans!!
We were happy to see that lovely slide to green last night but then a wicked bounce....really, baby girl? That bounce for 80s? We did take the dose down an extra amount the other day due to two really low numbers within four cycles; just felt the need to drain the depot a bit. Missy G got an increase today to see if we can get back to blues and greens.
The weirdest/scariest thing happened this morning. It's lovely at night and since we have the decorative metal doors on the outside of the sliders, we sleep with the sliders and windows open for the fresh cross breeze. At 5:45 a.m., I was awakened by a cat literally screaming in a high pitched tone. I bolted up thinking something had happened to Gracie or Tobey but she was snuggled in close to me and it had startled her as well. It was still dark and I didn't see Tobey but I think he must have been in bed with me as he usually is. Still, in my haze, I jumped up and ran into the kitchen and turned on the lights (I don't know why I didn't just turn on the lamp next to my side of the bed) and started calling him. He came running out of our bedroom with a sleepy look in his eyes so I knew he was ok. Evidently, the anguished cry came from outside. There are no stray cats up here because of the bobcats and coyotes so I wonder if it was a bunny because when I got up 45 minutes later for T/F/S, the bobcat was sleeping in the backyard and looking like he had a full tummy. :? :?
Back to work for me. I have a 300+ page very technical document I have to have reviewed with detailed comments by Monday morning. I also have to ensure it meets our federal regulations to the "t". At least I can do this at home on the catio with our babies. I just needed a break from it.
Have a great day!
