Maybe, however there is one other explanation for this.
It is, as well all know to be absolutely spot on with a consistant dose, is difficult unless you are in a lab setting. Even using syringes with half unit markings, to measure 3/4 is even more difficult. My guess is that sometimes when I load the syringe there are cycles that he gets closer to 3 and some cycles, closer to 2 1/2. Althought he amounts are miniscule, in a small cat 13Lbs the different amounts could have a major effect.

Measuring those doses can be tough on the eyes.
A drop up or down can have an effect on any cat no matter what the weight or size. Putty is pretty big but he reacts to a small drop either way.
Like you said it is better to be consistant with the dose even if it is not the exact dose but close.

This is about Chubby.
Still at the Vet. No operation today. The fluid that was in his abdomen, which arose from a tumor on his liver bursting, was without any malignent cells. That, however doesnt mean that there are none in his liver.
We are 33% of the way there
He is too weak to operate on today as he has developed anemia, given the issues he has had since last Wed. He is getting a blood transfusion today, and tomorrow they are going in to remove the growth and send out a sample (biopsy) to determine if he is clean. They are guarded about him, an its 50/50 on each of the next 2/3'rds.
I just got back, and although he is very lethargic, his eyes are bright, enjoys rolling on his back so I can pet his stomach and loves to have me play with his ears.
On to Frankie..I dont get it. Same dose, (he ate today sometime during the day and nibbled while I was giving him his AM dose), same time, same place, same cat. Almost a 200 point drop during the AM cycle and almost a 100 point rise last nites PM cycle. This is very very confusing and I can tell he is wondering (even though I have told him) where is brother has been.
