Mornin' Fellow Cat Nuts,

I was pretty surprised to see this AM #, I think it's the lowest yet on this trial. It was about an hour earlier than usual though because I had to be into work early, so I tested early.
He seems to be on a good eating kick, so that's nice. Not being as fussy as usual which is always a plus. He's more willing to eat pate type food.

Here's hoping that Mr. Green shows up at all your houses today!

Proud and stunned! I can't believe it. He's actually healing.

Thank you Lantus for making such an incredible medicine. Maybe one day human diabetics will be able to go into remission too. Launtus gives our cats a chance!!!

Happy Day 5 Traci.
Those are terrific AM numbers for Boomer.
Isn't it the best to see these low numbers without the insulin?

Randi-

Yes, it is unreal to see those numbers without insulin. I'm SO thankful for Lantus. I wrote to them via their website to thank them. Years ago I had a cat Calvin (organge tabby) who became diabetic because I over fed him I think. He was put on Humulin N and I didn't test him. I did what the vet told me. I never knew how he was really doing. All I did was shoot twice a day - everything was based on food - I just had to make sure he ate. It was awful. He could have been hypoglycemic and I wouldn't have known. I'm glad there is a better way now; it's a lot of work but at least they have a chance to get better and the owner isn't in the dark any longer!

The boys are looking mighty fine today for the party.

The falls is going to be under contruction getting all the new condos ready with so many on the way and many more getting so close.

I agree Lantus is wonderful. Who'd have thought we could get to these kinds of healthy numbers without insulin? party_cat

Hmm.. that's actually a really good idea.. I'm usually really good about calling or emailing companies to thank them for their products.. probably didn't occur to me because I get Nova's Lantus on the "black market" haha.

Lantus really rules. It's not too often that a medincine can cure a disease. We are incredibly lucky. I couldn't find a good place to send the message on thier site to so I sent it to their customer serice area. If I hear back from them I'll post it. I wonder if they have any idea how successful their product is for cats. I also wonder why everyone isn't using Lantus for their cats given the success rates??? My Mom's cat is such a good example. He is older, has hyper-t and was using PZI with no success for 5 months. His numbers were sometimes over 500 and he was getting neuropathy and felt like total crap. As soon as he went on Lantus he improved and was OTJ in ONE MONTH.

ANTI-JINX ALL OVER THIS POST!

Can you guys remind me where I can buy a vile of the red B-12 stuff? Boomer gets it once a month and if I can buy it myself I'd rather do that than go to the vet.

I'm really happy with his PM number. I got home early so it's not exactly the PM # it would have been if I was shooting. Does that matter?
