4/12 Abby coming back

Well gang, it looks like Abby and I are coming back after nearly 3 years OTJ. She's been ravenous so I just checked her and it's the highest I've seen since her initial diagnosis.....272. I guess it's time to pull all the stored supplies out and re-read all the guidelines. I'm calling the vet tomorrow.

I'm very sad to be back, but I guess 3 years was a good run.

I hope your stay is as short at it was the first time!

Any chance Abby needs a dental or there's an infection going on?

I guess it's always possible either infection or dental could be the cause. She had a dental last summer; I'd have to swaddle her to look at her teeth for anything more than a millisecond. She's just been chowing her entire meal within an hour (which is unusual for her) and her coat is more on the rougher side these days. Both of those were symptoms with her first go-round. It is odd thuogh that even with these #s she's not as lethargic or peeing as much as the first time she saw these #s years ago.

I'd think dental if there were no other symtpoms; but the appetite is there.
