Good Morning LL! Thank you Elsa! We went back to her .4U dose last night and she seems to be doing, well at least no reaching for the stars yet.

ACR:

• Tess is looking a lot perkier lately. The cypro is getting her to eat more and she's not looking quite as skinny.
  Emma os still Emma, but calming down a little. Fewer lizards caught, but i think that's because she has decimated the population. She has moved on to moles!
  Izzy's coat is looking much shiner with the new fuds, but she's not losing weight. And the diet is making her grouchier, she really doesn't like Emma! Hopefully the catio which should be finished today will mellow her out. Or else Emma will be too scared to come up on the patio w/ Izzy out there. :?

Wow, you have 3 cats with very strong personalities. Can't you all just get along? :roll: :lol: Great to hear the cypro is helping Tess's appy. I hope Tess isn't on her spaceship...

I'm glad to hear Tess is looking perkier and filling out again. It's so scary when they just don't want to eat.

Emma is a master hunter, eh? Does she bring you lots of "presents"? My sister has a hunter. They have to check the floor in the morning when they come down for "carnage". Ewww.

Sounds like Izzy is getting the nutrients she needs, but still too many calories. Do you have her on a reduced calorie diet? If she doesn't like the fuds, or thinks you're starving her, I can see why she would be grouchy. I'm grouchy when I'm dieting, too! Poor Emma. I hope they can all enjoy the new catio in peace and harmony.

I think izzy's problem is that she grew up w/ dogs and thinks she is one! She sees a cat and has to chase! Tess thinks she's a human and wants no cats in the house, Emma just wants a playmate! confused_cat And, no, we're not looking for a 4th cat!

We're following the weight loss calorie formula from Dr. Lisa. She had been getting the 220 calories the formula says to start w/, but wasn't losing weight. A few days ago we dropped her to 210. You have a good idea though, Tricia. Find a lower calorie food so she can eat more and maybe be a little happier. But she still thinks she is a dog!

It sounds like you have your hands full with the three little munchkins! It's great that Tess has perked up. Keep us updated on the weight loss with Izzy. I'm starting my civie Petey (he lives up to his name) on a diet. The cat has definitely gotten more than his fair share of food lately with all that I had been leaving out for Jersey.

Share a pic of the catio with us when you're done. We'd all love to see it. I know you've been working on it for a while - it must feel great to get it done!

Too bad that Emma and Izzy don't get along. I hope the catio will work for both of them. Maybe you need to get a dog?? :lol: And another cat?? :lol:
