Happy Fursday everybody!

WCR: Shasta was in a good mood when I got home yesterday. Running and enjoying her scratching post. She cuddled w/ me on the couch last night and snuggled up in bed until I fell asleep and then she made her way down to her bed. Got some purrs this morning; appy is ok; played and preened a little last night; 1 pee so far.

Kitty snuggles are the greatest. I hope Shasta's appy gets better today and she slides down to blue for you.

Awww, so nice to have happy and cuddly kitteh! I generally have to suffer some overly enthusiastic chewing as part of my punishment for getting to rub his pretty polka-dotted belly! Have a good day, and may the Poo/Pee tally add up!

Hi Carla & Lisa, thanks for checking in on us today. Shasta is doing ok tonight. She's been napping and just got up to eat some more of her snack. After napping, she limps, but I think it's stiffness because she doesn't limp every time she walks. Sometimes I think she does it for sympathy! :lol: Appy is ok tonight. I'm hoping she has a nice surf tonight, but I really want to go to sleep early tonight. I don't feel well and think a good night's sleep is what I need. Sinus season is already kicking my butt. :sad: Hope everyone is well tonight.

Whoa.... Shasta's gone Green.

I hear ya on the allergies.... I have allergy induced bronchitis ( found out today - they gave me steroids and an inhaler :shock: )

Has Shasta ever been xrayed for arthritis?
Since she gets the on again off again limp....and has her moody moments... I wonder.
That was Shadow's latest dx... if they jump a lot from high places when they are younger, it comes back to haunt them when they get older....

Just like us ....

as you know... with your back...

Hope you survive until you get that shot...

Hey Rhiannon, sorry to hear about your allergy bronchitis. Who ever said being an adult was fun needs to be slapped!!!! :-x :lol:

That green was TOTALLY unexpected and UNCALLED FOR! Such a sassy cat to pull this on a night that I really need to get to bed early. The last time she had an x-ray was 2 years ago when she was diagnosed w/ diabetes. I wanted them to x-ray her last month when we tried to sedate her for blood work, etc. but that was a big fat NO GO! I don't doubt that it's arthritis, but I wonder if it could be tied to allergies, too. Her eyes are weepy...just like her mama's.

Ok, time for another poke. :roll:

Apparently, she's digging her heels in and won't budge from the 40s...yet. I've given her PLENTY of 12%...this should be an interesting bounce when it happens!!!! :roll:

Thank you, Ella (via Marje) - I will absolutely look into this for me...and maybe Shasta! :razz: I'm hoping she surfs, but I will not put it past her to zip right up to the stratosphere (I gave her enough 12% to do that!) :oops: :-D Have a great night.
