Good Evening, L&LL,
Rusty and Edward had a good day while I was out on a 10+ mile hike/climb in the eastern High Peaks. Rusty ate pretty well and had much better breathing than yesterday.
Our hike (there were 6 of us) was beautiful. The weather cooperated (the rain/snow did not materialize). The snow on the trails was very heavy and wet ("snowball" snow) and kept balling up under our microspikes. We wound up taking the spikes off and bare-booting it on the spots that were not icy. Here is a picture of the view from the lookout point on the Fish Hawk Cliffs. The bodies of water are the Ausable Lakes.
Rusty is waiting for me to come downstairs and sit with him and hold his bowl.
