Luckily, it only took Racci overnight to come down from the Dry DM high BG's. After 3 meals of wet Core she was headed in the right direction again last night, or should I say early this morning:! lol.. Just some dramatic proof of how bad the purina dry DM that the vets recommend for diabetes really is for anyone who needs convincing! We ought to bookmark this thread for the newcomers who swear their vets know what's best or are afraid to talk balk to the vets. Feel free to use it if it will help someone.
Racci is doing fine today enjoying her Core Salmon so now I have to go buy a bunch fo that with a different date of course. She looks none the worse for wear thou I'm tired since she liked it so much she wanted to be fed often which is just as well. It helped her bg settle down to eat small amount several times and let her pancreas work easily.
