Nearly 3 years after I last bg tested and I'm already rusty :? I was fumbling with getting the test strip into the meter before poking ohmygod_smile Leroy didn't like the barely warm rice sock. Not sure if it was the warmth and/or the feeling of the sock on his ear and/or the smell of the warmed uncooked rice. I managed to get him to hold still long enough for me to poke. The click of the lancet device startled Leroy (not a surprise :roll
and he tried to get away but I managed to get the blood on the test strip. And Leroy zoomed off, dripping blood over the floor ohmygod_smile Memo to me: next time bg test in bathroom with door closed @-) So what was Leroy's bg? A blue 117 :mrgreen:
I tested Emma as well. She held still pretty well for me. Even though she has black ears I got blood on the first poke. Her bg? Better than Leroy's: 84 :mrgreen:
