Today is the day :-D Hubby is in flight right now, winging his way home to us! Happy all around!

Tugger had a nice easy day and night yesterday, hoping for the same for today =)

I've got a favor to ask y'all. I volunteered with Venita and DCIN to be a Case Manager for new to DCIN kitties and I have been given my first assignment.... Kitty aka Jasmine. Missyandlittlegrey will be posting a condo for her later today, Missy is fostering her for us till I can find Miss Kitty(Jasmine) a furever home. Kitty is on Lantus but we're thinking we may need to start her over? Girl's on 5units BID and it's doing nada. I'm thinking her vial is pooped, was dispensed in December. (Sounds familiar!) I was hoping someone with experience would pop in and give Missy some advice when she posts Kitty's condo. I'll be working this morning on getting Kitty some new juice and getting Missy a meter and strips (she has a loaner and about 4 or 5 strips right now) but this morning I think she is going to have to dose with the old juice (or skip?) Missy has more info, history etc., this is just off the top of my head right now. I'd really appreciate any help anyone can offer! We want to get Kitty girl settled and ready for her new furrever home!

Now, it's off to start making calls and sending emails for Kitty and finishing up around here!

Great amps for Tugger and will look for new condo when it arrives of course I am to new to give any dose advice but can welcome her anyway :-D Sounds like you have a very busy day ahead of you with DH on his way home and busy with your new case assignment hope your day goes smoothly and you have a great reunion with DH :YMHUG: cat_pet_icon

Have an awsome reunion with DH today. So terrific he is on s way home.
I hope the furbabie and drooler behave and stay only somewhat crazy today.

Terrific looking number for Tugger today. You are doing such an incredible job
with him.

I will check in later and look for a condo for Jasmine. I have been watching her story and how
the mom just dropped her off because the "baby" wasn't getting along with her. Oh well.
In your hands I am sure she will find her furever home.

Tugger likes his dose. It's so weird to see him so 'normal'. We're all used to him being the action-packed drama boy. Could you have more going on, BTW??? :!: So exciting your hubby is coming home. Know ya'll will be thrilled to have him back.

LOL Betty, I'm sure there could be a little more going on... but I've put a stop on adding new stuff for today ;)

The drooler is at his playdate, mail run is done, laundry is 80% finished and a lot of emails answered. I still need to clean the kitchen and vacuum and a few other things but it's mostly easy now. Just gonna need to focus on it and I might be finished in a few hours. I've already assigned the boy his portion, just waiting for him to actually start *doing* it :lol:

I think it's time to turn on my happy Celtic music, that'll run him out quick ;)

Well I'll be darned.

Tugger has a flabby belly.

I have never seen his belly saggy and flappy. He's always been a little round beer keg. With legs.

I haven't weighed him again, last time was 19 pounds (dang, should have put that on ss) OK, weighed him and he is now 19.1 pounds.

I guess this high protein lc diet is slimming him down even though he's not actually loosing weight. I'm gonna miss my widdul beer keg, even while the other half of me is cheering :RAHCAT for healthy Tugger.

Hi Marvie! Just wanted to wish you a wonderful weekend with your DH arriving home, Tugger doing so well, and you taking on a new assignment. I admire your energy and devotion!

Oh I will! I don't think I have to worry about Tugger tonight =) he gave me a 109 at +10 but I did feed a 7% food earlier.

Just got an email from hubby, he's in Dallas waiting for his connection :-D I bet it feels good to be on home ground and know he gets to stay!

Got to run get the puppy from his friend's house so I can be back in time for shot.

Down from 109 at +10. He had a FF appetizer at +9.45 and is now eating FF Turkey and Giblets like it's going out of style. And he doesn't like turkey and giblets.

I had plans for what tonight? :lol:

Tugger is not going to go scary low for you tonight. He is going to be a good boy, so you can relax (or whatever), with your hubby home. I'm so excited for you. :smile:

Nice little tease, enough to have me make the boy test twice while I was gone, but no doscrease tonight. Maybe soon, but not tonight.

I'm just wondering if Boomer's ever gonna let *me* cuddle with hubby :lol: Hubby sat down, dog plopped on top of him and tail started thumping. I think hubby's stuck :lol:
