hi all. feels like a long time since i posted any sort of an update so thought i'd check in. we had some family over from australia for a couple weeks so it's thrown my time clock out of whack i think.

Mousie is her usual self. nothing new with her diabetes. she is due for her annual checkup though so we'll probably try and catch her and see if we can get her in for that here in the next couple weeks maybe. Fuji is due for a checkup with his cardiologist so since in all honesty his issues are a bit more pressing I'll probably get him in first.

We're in stall mode with Mousie at the moment as her pmbg so far is not high enough for me to shoot given her track record of shooting a number this low.

ok, we WERE in stall mode. LOL!! got pulled away to finish dinner and then fiance got home from his ride, etc.....

anyway, her numbers this weekend
Saturday
AMPS 113 1u
PMPS 101 1u

Sunday
AMPS 142 1u
+6 45 (she threw up here which is what prompted me to test)
+12 68
PMPS (+12.75) 146 1u

i'm surprised her numbers weren't higher today because we've had a noisy day around here, i.e. treedwellers killed Fuzzie's china food bowl, shattering it loudly on the floor and then i managed to melt some ice cube trays on the top of the stove.

not sure if i've posted since Fuji got neutered but he did. the vet put her foot down about his weight at that time though, saying 12+ pounds was pushing it for his heart condition, so i laid into fiance about feeding Fuji so many treats and sure enough, we took him in for a weight check yesterday and he's down to 11 pounds so we're doing good :-D

LePew is still doing good. he also went in for a check yesterday and while his BUN/Creat are holding steady his Phos is climbing so she's thinking about adding a binder to his regimen. and we're taking him in this next friday to have his perinephric cyst drained again. it's been 6 weeks which is twice as long as we thought he'd go between drains.

Everyone else is good and healthy and holding steady so I won't bore you with individual updates on the rest of them. Just know that the treedwellers are still keeping me on my toes and Mommie Kitty is trying to kill me I think by sleeping on my head and using my nose to scratch her ears and cheeks on

Melting ice cube trays... that's a first. ohmygod_smile

I'm glad to hear that Fuji has dropped a little weight to take some stress off his heart. Isn't it great that he doesn't know about any of his worries and is just a happy kitty?
Love hearing about your gang and how they keep you crazy, I mean on your toes.

Glad to see that Mousie is doing great. What lovely numbers, even if there was a little puke thrown in there. :?

Hi Cindy: nice to see you and Mousie and the rest of the gang. I had company today too, but I didn't melt anything. With the hot weather in the Midwest today, the cats have been sleeping a lot. Good wishes for you and your brood.
