Good morning LL hope everyone had a good night :YMHUG: cat_pet_icon
amps 323 He felt really good last night kept pawing my face and chewing on my hair this is pre-FD behavior dancing_cat he has not done this in a long time to me a good night now is just him sleeping on my pillow so I really enjoyed him bothering me so much its a sign he felt good last night :-D :-D Hoping for a yellow day

Yay! Those signs put the higher numbers into perspective, don't they? Do Lou is obviously starting to feel better!!!!

Now come on down into those yellows today Do Lou!

Well Amy I was certainly encouraged by his behavior last night he has not acted like that in a long long time :smile:

Isn't it awesome when they start acting like their old selves again? It makes me so happy. Scrabble really started to become more playful again which was so nice to see! Hope you have great Caturday and you see some lower numbers today!!

Oh it was WONDERFULto have him pulling on my hair and pawing my face and he is just all over the bedroom right now DH is making this special piece of furniture to go at the window since Do Lou has neuropathy and has trouble jumping my DH makes cat furniture on the side and we sell it at cat shows a few times a year and I have it all over my house and we recently had to remove Do Lou's fav tree since it was over 6ft and even though I had smaller ones around it for him to get up to it we were afraid with his limited eyesight he would get hurt and what I have now in front of the window Do is too fat to lay comfortable so this is DH's project this weekend is was so cute he came in to measure the window area and Do Lou ran to try and get his tape measure of course he was not allowed to play with this tape measure since it was metal Do Lou has his own tape measure he plays with all the time when he feels good well anyway enough of Lisa's rambles :mrgreen:

Like father like son. I so can picture trying to help with the wood working.

It's great when their old habits start peeking through. They are not just numbers so these are good signs.
Hope you can get him eating more of the wet than the dry to see a change in his numbers.
Why don't you try a +4 and see where he goes.

I know its hard to see but he has his tape measure in the small pic in our sig its the blue thing laying over his belly and I cannot count the times I have offered him wellness core and he usually buries it well just ate 1/4 cup :o :o :o did someone send him a Low carb message LOL hope it lasts and yes I am going later to feeders supply with the J&F chart again I have done this before of course more then once at least he likes RC recovery which is 6% carbs but he would not eat it this morning so go figure on him thats how he is though he loves something and then will not eat it. But will always eat dry so if I can at least get him on core it would be a improvement. There is also a pic of him with his tape measure on his profile there is a story on how he came to love the tape measure but I am way too embarrassed to tell it to you guys LOL :oops: :oops: I cannot find the carb amount of core on the bag does anyone know what it is??

Hey Lisa, I love when cats play with hair. I love even better when they start feeling better and go back to things they did before.
My DD's cat used to chew on her hair at night and she'd wake up with dried slobber in her hair... :lol:
I keep a printout on my fridge, that I got somewhere on FDMB, that says, it's normal for +2, to be higher than pre-shot. Then +3 could be about the same as ps.
I never worry when Checkers is higher at +2. Obviously ECID.
Having said that..."Come on down, Do Lou!!!" :-D

How nice that your hubby makes cat furniture. There is a local man that made a set of very narrow stairs for me, so my kitties could get up on the washer. The board under it,is wider on one side, so it slips under the washer, to make it tip-proof. I carpeted it. The cats all love it....no more jumping up and down on washer.

glad to hear that do lou was making you happy last night ... it sure is a nice feeling when they do things they "used" to do .. makes you feel like you can really do this! Hope you guys see some great numbers today!

I did not realize that about the +2 being higher then pre shot I may have read it IDK I have flooded my brain so much since Nov with diabetes info that I am not sure what I remember you know :? I may need to go back and read some of the info on this site again to refresh the brain yes the hubby actually started the making of the furn only to prove me wrong he had built some ugly but useful things and I told him there was no way he could build furniture that would sell well so begins the challenge to prove me wrong which he did and I had to eat my words :roll: We now set up a booth 2x a year at cat shows selling it. :lol:

If numbers stay on this path, you could shoot a +10 or a +11 tonight and see if you get any response. The tricky part is when you do it back to back for days -- once in awhile is not so tricky.
 
pmps 320 yes it is frustrating D it just seems like we cannot break free of the 300s trapped in a sea of pink I will try the early shot tonight and see what it does

+2 314 Well we are getting nowhere with the 4.5 this was our 5th cycle tonight and we are still a sea of pink I think he will be due a dosecrease again soon I guess we will break thru his pink wall one of these days :sad: :sad: I can see a few lower pinks here and there but really no change overall IMO
 
it's the best when they start doing things they haven't done in a long time. That's one of the reasons we ask you to put a Whole Cat Report in your condo every day. We don't want anyone to get so focused on the numbers that they forget about what a great kitty they have. :smile:

What + hour did you end up shooting tonight?

Just the normal +12 tonight was not home early enough tonight to try anything else went to dinner with my parents and did not get home until right when it was time to test him and give him his shot.
 
I had some time before I have to leave for the airport so I'm trying to catch up... looks like I should be watching your condos for a while... things could get exciting around here! Better get your sleep while you can! (antijinx!)
 
Lisa go to the top of the page & click on members, go to 4th or 5th page & look up Barbara & Tuffy-go into profile & click on her very colorful -SS!!--Cat could go from 350 to 30 in a couple of hrs--Was on 10 units--now 0.5..

I once thought pink was a nice color .. not so much anymore .. but I agree with Nicole .. once it "clicks" with do lou, you're going to need a parachute he's going to come down so fast and we are all going to be here cheering you on!
