Yes, a black number (again)...

I'm confused at this point. If I give him the same amount of insulin, at the same times during the day, why does he throw high numbers like this?
 
I don't know, Susan. He does have blacks scattered through his ss, at seemingly random times. Usually a high is because of a fur shot, a bounce from a low or a bad meter reading. He didn't seem to be headed terribly low last cycle. Any chance of a bad reading or a fur shot?

I think I have suggested you look at Lucian's ss. He is another kitty who has tried both Ls and is now on PZI. He also throws random numbers that seem to be without logic. I think Deb figures he is doing better overall with PZI than he did with the other insulins, so she rides out the strange stuff and generally tries to keep him in regulated numbers and below the renal threshold. Chuck seems to be in about the same place. His numbers are generally good, but sometimes unexplainable.... :?:
