i saw Tommy's #s and thought they look like they've really come down, but couldn't get your spreadsheet to open. For some reason i have a lot of trouble opening spreadsheets - the computer just takes too long and times out. But, i'm thinking for tommy those are pretty good. Yay!

Are you planning on increasing Tommy's dose tonight? More yellow would be good -- maybe even some blue?

Arrrrrrrrrrghhhh!!! So much for the lower floor. What am i doing wrong? I simply don't understand a day like yesterday and then today where he has almost 100 point leap in 2hrs back to red.
Yeah, I was hoping to maybe see a lower number this afternoon and shoot 7.5 one more time, but with it going back that high, I'm guessing 8.0u tonight it is.. As soon as i can manage dental and those other tests, i will get them done. I feel like i'm letting him down or it is something else keeping them up there so high.

nah, don't get discouraged. You're doing really well, actually. You're acting with confidence and you're doing what you need to do. You're seeing a bit more yellow now so just keep on keepin' on. We'll get there. :smile:

That red number may be a bounce. Tommy isn't used to yellow numbers and his liver may have panicked. When that happens, it dumps a stored form of glucose and counterregulatory hormones into the bloodstream. As a result, numbers spike. You're not doing anything wrong. This is a normal phenomenon. It's annoying but it's normal.

comforting to hear the experts, isn't it squirrel! just compare his overall the last couple of days to 2 weeks ago. he's doing better.

don't get discouraged! you doing everything possible for your sweet little buddy.
