Good Friday Morning, Everyone,
Rusty is back to a blue AMPS--a little higher than I would like, but certainly better than the yellows of the last 3 days. Last night at PMPS +4.5 he was down to 104, so I am hoping that today we will see a gradual return to normal numbers. We had a good test, a good shot (no fur shot today), and breakfast (1st and 2nd sittings eaten). Rusty is now warming himself on his cushion next to the radiator. Although he isn't interested in playing yet this morning, he is showing every other sign of getting back to normal (last night he charged up the stairs, 3 at a time; this morning he was eager for breakfast).
We are delighted that the big snowstorm seems to be taking a different track and will hit Vermont instead of us! We're only supposed to get a couple of inches now (not the foot of snow that was "promised"). This is good. Since our dirt and gravel driveway is thawing, we were not looking forward to being plowed and having it ripped up!
All for now. I've got to pay bills and walk over to the vet's to get a prescription for Rusty's Levemir. I want to order from Canada Drugs Online just to make sure that I have more pens when I need them. Their price is really good, but it is puzzling that a box of 5 3ml penfill cartridges costs $160, whereas a box of 5 3ml FlexPens only costs $114. Both are Novo Nordisk. I ordered the FlexPens. Can anyone shed light on this for me?
We are continuing to send healing vines and snowflakes, good thoughts and prayers to all of our ailing kittties.
