Yesterday's Condo

It's a quiet morning here. Apparently, the only thing of interest to the kitties is food! An invitation to the 2nd installment of breakfast had both of them making a beeline for the kitchen.

Yesterday, the power cord to charge my laptop decided to die. The good news about living where I live is that there's an Apple store that's fairly close by. In retrospect, I'm not sure a jaunt down Michigan Ave. was a great idea for day 3 post-surgery. (My doc did say that getting up and moving around was a good idea. I'm just not sure this is what she had in mind.) Given that we've had unseasonably warm weather, the plus side of my adventure was seeing the tulips along Michigan Ave. The city plants thousands of tulips in the sidewalk beds and in the planters in the middle of the street. It is a sure sign of spring and they are absolutely beautiful.

Nice greens for Gabby. It sounds like it was enjoyable getting out today. And it was what the doctor ordered, getting up and moving around right on down to the Apple store. I hope you're feeling better and Gabby and Gizmo are spoiling you.
