Good evening,

after the difficult day yesterday I made the decision to delay the increase until the new sensor gets fixed tomorrow. She still has the old sensor on but very often it does not give numbers and I am not so sure if I can trust them. I try to test as often as possible but sometimes she does not let me. So I am scared I can not test if I really need it.

She started much lower today and stayed in pink and yellow most of the time. She is not licking the wound anymore so I think the rinsing and the local antibiotics helped by now. She also seems to be more active, which makes me happy. Hopefully applying the already opened libre tomorrow works. Everything feels quite bumpy at the moment.

Have a safe evening and night! :bighug::bighug:

I hope her wound is healing well, Heike. It sounds like she’s feeling better. Glad you will see the vet tomorrow.
I know how worried you feel when every thing feels so bumpy. Hopefully as Binie gets into better numbers, you will feel more comfortable that she is healing and doing better. It definitely takes time and it’s so new for you both.
I’m sending you pawsitive energy and hope you have a smooth and uneventful night :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Heike A good update that Binie is not licking the wound anymore. The rinsing and antibiotics must be helping and being more active is sure a good sign . I hope you both have a calm night :bighug::bighug::bighug::cat:

Thank you so much Diane! Unfortunately it helped only short time in the past but I am happy that this makes her time until the operation takes place easier. And it seems to affect her bg as well. And my mood... Seing her feeling better lifts my spirits so much... I also hope you and Tyler have a safe night and a good sleep! :bighug::cat:
