I agree with Steph, that you aren't talking about a big difference between where she is and what the vet wants. How did your vet determine her weight? Did she take measurements and body composition? Or just look at her and name an "ideal" weight? I'm just curious because my vet just looks at my cats and tells me which seems a little shady to me

If she seems a little plump to you though, keep at it - losing weight can be slow, especially for indoor kitties. And remember too that she had a few days on higher carb food recently which is the biggest cause of weight gain, so that might have slowed her down a bit.
One trick is to put her as far away as you can from where she wants to be. So for example, when it's time to eat, I pick Atticus up and walk him into the bedroom, then I put his food down in the kitchen so he has to walk his chubby little butt back down the hall. Same with treats - if I'm going to give him a treat, I go as far as I can away from him, or toss them down the hallways so he has to waddle after them. And sometimes I just pick him up and move him to a different room with me. Then he glares at me and goes back to where he was in the first place. It's not a ton of exercise, but since he just looks at toys instead of playing with them, at least it's something! And it is working, since I started this forced movement routine, he's lost almost half a pound, but it's been awhile. He definitely isn't losing weight quickly.
