Not a bad start to the day so far - here's the overview:

Completely OT again, but too cute not to share with you guys - Luca discovered the empty box that used to contain the mandarins we bought yesterday, and decided that no matter what, he was going to fit into it :mrgreen: When he couldn't quite manage comfortably, he decided Maggie had relaxed in the half-pipe for long enough and started a round of kitty jungle gym tag with her... I *love* working from home, so I get to catch moments like these! :razz:

I have NO idea where that (+7) has come from... He was doing so beautifully... For today, the plan is to keep watching the cycle and see what Karre's pancreas does with this blue BG. Overall, I am feeling a little doubtful about Wednesday's trial plans... We don't mind a couple of visits to the lower blue BGs - that's what he had during his last stint on 0.1u Lantus, and on 10 out of 14 days of his OTJ trial in 2008. But this seems a bit more noteworthy. So, we're taking note. I'm going to get a (+9). I very much hope his pancreas will have kicked in by then...

Looks like Karre is still sporting a beautiful green ascot, how dignified!

Love the pictures of Luca and Maggie. Who needs to buy fancy cat beds when you can just use mandarin boxes :-D
 
Okay, so he's back down in the green. In the 70s, even. But where on earth did that (+7) come from??

We're confused... Of course, this is a clear inverted curve, too. And of course we remember what those have meant for Karre in the past. But that (+7) just seems weird, anyway...

A nice day for Karre! I wouldn't take that +7 too much to heart - maybe he had a little upset stomach or hairball or got upset about something. Or he's just trying to keep you on your toes. :)

We heart you :smile: You're right, too - most likely it will just have been a blip to do with something like a hairball or suchlike. Thanks for the reassurance! How is Salem enjoying the Falls? Karre hopes to move into Salem's Falls neighbourhood, if he may!

oh, Jane - what BEAUTIFUL kitties you have!!!! Thanks for sharing the pictures!

Of course, we never really know what's going on with our kitties, only as much as they allow us to know, but maybe that +7 was a wonky number - bad strip, something - or some kind of added stress - construction noise, thunder, another kitty in his bubble??? Either way, it's just a little bump in the road, nothing to worry a lot about.

Karre is looking wonderful and you're doing a great job!!
