Today I can say it...happy appy, snuggly, spunky, feisty, and massive, massive anti-jinxes.
Thank you for all the support and suggestions the last couple days. I don't know why Monday in particular was so rough with her appy and snuffles, but - anit-jinx - she seems to be back on track now - anti-jinx. Appy is up where I like it, snuffles have receded again (not completely gone, but way better), overall very bright and feisty. I am going to pick up some generic Zyrtec to have on hand, just in case.
As I mentioned yesterday, she usually tolerates ABs quite well and she'd tolerated this one well in the past, but of course things can change and maybe it's bothering her a bit this time around, especially since she's already been through 2 rounds of the other AB this year. So, the last few mornings I was assist-feeding a syringe of food shortly before the AB so I was positive she had a good cushion for the AB. Today I do feel like she's eaten enough on her own to forego the pre-AB syringe of food. Anyway, maybe that has helped with the appy issue she had earlier this week? Sadly, we will never know for sure, but if this approach seems to make a difference, I will continue following it.
Still frustrated with my brother and the situation with my Mom's taxes, but that ain't gonna change.
Today my Mom and I are running to Costco. I have to admit that right now I'm so burnt out on family that I really don't feel like going, but I'm sure it will be fine.
Prayers to all, with extras for Karen....
