No he wanted me to feed him first before all the other stuff lol~~turning, cleaning, pilling, testing...Was he feisty because you were rubbing that mixture on him? ;-) When I first looked at the video I thought she would be giving him Turmeric orally. But now I see that she's rubbing it in. I wonder what happens if they lick it off. I don't think it's going to taste too great. Now my cat Ginger loves olive oil (maybe others do too, I haven't tried it). She gets a little bit now and then.

I have very gently stroked a little of the warm oil mixture on his legs each night for 2 nights. They are very stiff and I don't know if they will work again but we will try until we can't anymore!

I have been concerned about his legs not getting any exercise. I was wondering if massage would help. Too bad they can't do any kind of electrical stimulation on his legs to make the muscles work. But this would probably be like torture to a kitty who couldn't understand what was going on. Is there such a thing as a kitty masseuse? What about Accupuncture? Do you have anyone around where you are. We are very limited in veterinary accupuncturists near where I live. I place a lot of stock in a thing called Frequency Specific Microcurrent. I am getting ready to go to the chiropractor tomorrow and will rent her little machine again since my hip bursitis is acting up. I used to have bursitis so badly that I could not walk without a serious limp. When I use this device, it completely reduces and then eliminates all of my hip inflammation and then pain and I can walk normally again. I haven't even had to use it since 2019. It's been flaring up a little bit lately and I thought I'd give it another round to keep me for another few years. You can't actually feel it because it's a microcurrent -- so you feel like an idiot when it's doing "nothing" for you -- at least that's what I thought when I first tried it several years ago. I thought it was like "snake oil." It's not just for inflammation or pain, but it is fantastic for that and a lot of other things (even uterine fibroids.) I want to buy a home unit. I think it's called Custom Care Frequency Specific Microcurrent. There's a lot out there about FSM. Dr. Carolyn McMakin, I believe, is the person who had pioneered the study and use of FSM and there have been a lot of well-documented successes. I don't know why I just thought of this today. I wonder if it could help Tiger? Another thing that I have been reading about and my chiropractor is now offering is near infrared light therapy (who knows if anyone has used this in animals). It appears to be beneficial for spinal cord injury repair. It's supposed to be so good for many things. I'm looking into it. I know it's good for the brain. Anyway, I'm just running on now.... love to Tiger.Thank you so much for all that great info Suzanne! I will research some and get back to you...love to Tiger.
I think the biggest benefit is them licking it off! Tiger likes to lap canola oil out of a dish-yuck! I don't let him since his DX...Was he feisty because you were rubbing that mixture on him? ;-) When I first looked at the video I thought she would be giving him Turmeric orally.
