I'm glad Simon is out of the pink numbers this morning and is a little lower yellow. I'm hoping this may be a trend today towards lower numbers -- keeping fingers and paws crossed. I'm so sorry I haven't been able to visit too many condos lately. My work is unbelievably stressfull this week and with all the emotional stress with trying to figure out what is wrong with Simon, I am so exhausted when I get home. I'm going to try and visit more often today because y'all give me so much support and I also love reading about your kitties.

Hope your day is terrific!

Re: 3/9 Simon AMPS 226

Don't worry about not visiting condos, all our lives get hectic at some point. Hope your life eases up on the stress level and Simon is well and posts better numbers.

Take it easy today

We understand completely. You take care of you and Simon. So happy with the lower yellow this morning. Its a sign of good things to come. Hang in there Georgia. Hugs.

Re: 3/9 Simon AMPS 226

Good morning guys ... a nice yellow for simon today .. could very easily see blues and greens later on .. Don't stress yourself out about getting on here and visiting condos .. we all have been there and we all understand ... hope you guys have a great day!

(((Georgia)))) Take care of yourself first, condos when you can. I know where you're coming from. Sometimes just looking at all the kitty avatars here makes me feel a bit less stressed. cat_pet_icon

I like the downward trend in Simon's numbers! :-D Good work, Simon. Keep 'em coming. Chaos says he'd love to see you down on the blue floor later on today!

Re: 3/9 Simon AMPS 226 +6 266 test result

I just came home to get a quick test on Simon. Unfortunately, he has gone up a little instead of coming down. His +6 is usually lower than the AMPS. I did talk briefly to the vet this morning. He said the fPL1 test results were in. He hadn't had time to really go over them, but he did say that the results did not indicate pancreatitis. That is a good thing, although I don't understand what has happened with Simon all of a sudden. Does anyone have any suggestions and has this happened to others? It just seems like the higher numbers have to mean that there is something wrong.

Re: 3/9 Simon AMPS 226 +6 266 test result

Hi, Georgia.. great news on the test result.
As far as the higher #s go, I suspect it has everything to do with the ear infection, meds, etc. It has only been 4 1/2 days in high #s, I know it feels like forever, these #s are hard for anybody to see, I can only imagine it is harder for you since Simon was doing so well. I belive he will get back down to lower #s again, his body just needs time for the meds to work. I cannot promise that.. but my best guess is he will. Try to look at the big picture & this week really does not mean it will never get back to the way it was. Take care of you & I hope you have a great day!

Re: 3/9 Simon AMPS 226 +6 266 test result

Hi Georgia: great news on the fPLI! Please don't worry about visiting condos; you need to take care of yourself and Simon first. We'll be here for you!! Take care and I hope you all can figure out why his numbers are higher.

Yee haw (that is Southern for yeah!!). I never thought I would be so happy to see blue. I hope this isn't just a mistake and that Simon is finally coming down a little. Please keep your fingers crossed that tomorrow will be a good day. I'm going to try and get one more test before I go to bed, but since I just fed him, it will probably show a food spike.
