hi all,
late opening a condo here...

continued prayers for Butthead, Simon and Tori....as well as Ele, WCF and Cheryl....and anyone on FDMB who is struggling....

last night was pretty rough...we were pretty close to taking Comet back to the hospital..he had high fever and restless sometimes crying like...it was heartbreaking to see him...i was on the phone with the hospital and they helped me get his fever down...by then it was 4 am...he managed to settled at 6:15 am...he's been sleeping ever since though i had to wake him up at 8 am to give him his ab and food....

eta: i even plugged in the D.A.P. diffuser for Comet (the equivalent of the feliway but for dogs) and only now it worked on him but last night it didn't do a thing....

Rocket settled well for the night...but by the time Comet got settled it was his turn to be unsettled....he's has eaten ok for the morning so far but restless and that's not really him...wonder if it's due to Comet not feeling well...hard to tell

so in a nutshell both are sleeping now....this nurse has however managed to sleep a total of 4 hrs but only this morning and not straight thru...i'm pretty tired...

prayers for us here are certainly needed and much appreciated....it was a pretty rough night...for both DH and myself...however DH managed to sleep as he had to go tbp so the bulk of it was me dealing with both fur-kids....

And also from us, Claudia. Sorry I haven't visited your condo lately....got things going on here but I do say a prayer every day and send you wishes on our condo every day. Hope you can get some rest.

I'm so sorry it was a rough night for Comet. Made me so sad to read that. He is in amazing hands with his nurse momma. I'm sure Rocket is feeling unsettled because of this too. I hope Comet starts feeling better very quickly. Animals I believe are much more resiliant than us humans. They inspire me daily. Not many humans in my real life inspire me.

"Every day in every way: better and better". Don't forget, Claudia, that Comet had his surgery only 24 hours ago. It's very good that he's resting now. And that Rocket is looking after him, too. You have your own nurse's aide! Sending lots of feel-better vines to both your babies, thinking good thoughts, and continuing to pray for strength for you.

Comet's picture is so adorable! I hope he is feeling better tonight and also that Rocket is doing better. It sounds like they really have a tight bond with each other. Prayers tonight for your whole family.

Continued prayers for you all. I've never been a dog person (always had cats), but Comet looks like a real sweetie. You are lucky to have each other.

thank you all for your continued support and prayers...much appreciated and much needed....

Rocket keeps a close eye on Comet even though he himself is struggling with his own issues....they tend to sleep close by each other...who would have known a cat and a dog can be this close...i give both attention and love...i feel bad for Comet still though...he wants to scratch where the stitches are...and seems to be uncomfortable...

both fur-kids have their meds in place....Rocket still needs the bupe for the night but he has eaten and gotten treats...i have spoiled them both tonight

hopefully tonight is better than last night....i'm pretty tired myself....
