I wonder that, too. I had alarms set that night... during the missing hour!I wonder if she'd been in green numbers overnight on the 7th/8th. If that 144 AMPS yesterday was a rising number, which it probably was, she might have been lower than that a couple of hours previously - might that be why she looks like she's bouncing again?

Been there, done that! The last decrease Rosa got, I barely caught it in time - I went btb and meant to get up for a +2. Slept right through the alarm and barely caught her at 52 at +4. It happens - nothing you can do about it.I had alarms set that night... during the missing hour!![]()
Yes, it does! I've been framing it in my mind that I need to find the dose that will keep her in good numbers and help mitigate the effect of any potential bounce. I think I read something in a condo recently where there was a recommendation to hold a dosecrease until a bounce cleared and it just confused me!Lantus dosing is based upon how low a dose takes a cat. As the cat spends more time in normal blood sugar numbers, their body will get used to it and the bouncing will usually lessen or stop completely. So the focus is on those low numbers - the bouncing highs will usually resolve themselves as you get the lows into the right range.
Does that make sense?
