Thank you again for all the suggestions and support yesterday. Last night was first time I’ve needed to be away from Minner during the active time of her cycle. The good news: she was just fine. She went to her food bowls 4 times during the 3-3.5 hours we were gone. She was at 78 at +6.5 when we got home, despite having eaten MC food. The bad news: sadly we left party when “we’re just now getting started” (per our good friend hosting). Minner hadn’t moved for an hour and was not very responsive to my voice thru the petcube and I was scared.

The other good news: Learning. Minner will eat on her own if she needs to. It’s like her body knows she is low and needs to eat. I should be able to get back a little freedom knowing this.

Today’s numbers and feeding …. Which is another morning cycle that is benign and sane.

AMPS 131 - FF 4kcal 0% treat post shot
+1 114 - no food
+2 102 - 3% pate - ate about 1/3 can
+3 80 - 2% pate & 5% chunky, ate abt 1/4 can
+4 did not test/feed
+5 75 - 2% pate, ate abt 1/5 can

Hi Laura, so glad you had a nice night, even though it came with worry. It sounds like Minner did very well on her own and it’s very comforting when you can watch them on the pet cam. I do the same thing all the time while I’m out.
